When I started in real estate, I was lost. I couldn't figure out how to make my first sale, line up a funnel or truly generate leads. The world of outside sales is tough — and residential real estate can be even tougher, especially in a hot market.

So — how do you get business, keep it and (most importantly) enjoy what you do?

I've worked with dozens of agents to find out.

I tried the Buffini method. The Mike Ferry Approach. I worked with my brokerage's "mentor." None of it worked.

What I wish I had was someone who had DONE this. Who would take the time to show me the steps of how to truly succeed in this business.

I joined different brokerages, tried networking groups, spent hundreds of dollars on marketing — but it never clicked for me.

See, this business isn't what it used to be in a lot of ways. But at its heart, people work with those they know, like and trust.

It's about relationships. Relationships mean something different now. They take form beyond a handshake. Do you follow a pet on social media? Have you gotten the news that the pet had passed? It changes your day — even though you may have never met them.

Turns out, lots of people will take your money — but none of their programs spoke to me. I wanted someone to talk through my business with, bounce ideas off of - and most importantly, someone who would give me the time of day to walk me through the steps of success.
